My (Pre-)Ph.D. Work

On December 2014, I earned my Ph.D. at the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) working under the guidance of Prof. George C. Polyzos and Assistant Prof. Stavros Toumpis in the Mobile Multimedia Laboratory. My research had been supported by a national scholarship. Prior to this, I obtained my B.Sc. in Informatics and Telecommunications from the University of Athens in 2006 and my M.Sc. in Computer Science from AUEB in 2008.

Research Interests during my Ph.D.

  • Game Theory  for Radio Resource Management in Wireless Networks

  • Power Control in Wireless Networks

  • 5G (Small Cells, Device-to-Device Networks, Licensed Spectrum Sharing)

  • You can take a look at these slides for an introduction to my Ph.D. work...

  • or you can read my Ph.D. thesis, defended on 22 December 2014. The title is "Incentives-Based Power Control in Wireless Networks of Autonomous Entities with Various Degrees of Cooperation". [PDF] [PPTx-ORAL DEFENSE] [ABSTRACT (in English)] [ABSTRACT (in Greek)]
